“Being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” This scripture clearly describes a promise being fulfilled in the vessel of Pastor Betty Alford. Despite the rejection, obstacles and criticism, this woman of God surpassed them all with the mighty hand of God. Her bold style of ministry has touched the lives of many through transparency and compassion for the people of God. It is evident in Pastor Alford, that eyes which look are common but eyes that see are rare. This is clearly seen through the prophetic anointing upon her life.

 

Pastor Alford is a licensed and ordained servant of Bonds of Love Ministries, Inc. (One church in five locations) where she also serves as Executive Administrator. She is the Senior pastor of Love City of Meridian, MS. She is submitted under the headship of Apostle Lamorris S. Richardson.

 

Pastor Alford follows in her father’s footsteps as being the first entrepreneur of her family. She is the owner and operator of 4Z Boutique; a classy, unique, business savvy boutique with a contemporary edge, located in Meridian, MS.

 

Pastor Alford is devoted to her angels. Her three adult children: Ottavia and Olivia Lang, and her son Ja’Mes Alford. Her five grandchildren, the 4Z (the inspiration of her boutique’s name) Zion, Zorian, Zamaurion, and Zoryah Lang and her newest, Heaven Jewel. Pastor Alford is also a spiritual mother to many in the Body of Christ.

Pastor Ralph Edwards, Sr. was the eighth child born to Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Edwards, Sr. on September 29, 1957 in Selma, Alabama. From them, he received a solid biblical foundation that later led to his conversion to Jesus Christ and call to ministry. During his early years, he attended the Alabama Lutheran School (now Concordia College) and Selma High School. After graduating in 1975, he enrolled in the School of Theology at Selma University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree.

As a licensed and ordained minister, he has served as the pastor of several churches including St. Matthew Baptist Church, Highway Baptist Church, and Sister Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Then, in 1987, Pastor Edwards founded Helping Hands Bible Ministries, Inc. where he is currently the overseer.

In addition to being a pastor, he is heavily involved as a spiritual leader and a community servant. He currently serves as a member of the Global Network, the Fatherhood Initiative, and the Spirit of Nehemiah Ministry; a spiritual father to several ministers; and the founder and administrator of the Senior Care Ministry, Inc.

He is also a loving and devoted husband to Elect Lady Frenchie Patterson Edwards for more than 20 years. They have two sons: Ralph Edwards, Jr. and Terrance Antwan Edwards.

Yet, with all of this, Pastor Edwards humbly acknowledges God as the source of his life, vision, and blessings. God is the reason for what I have or do, he states simply. I am nothing without Him and am not ashamed to say so. Thats why I have to give Him all the praise, honor, and glory every day.
